Yakult is to celebrate five successful years in Britain with its first ever 30-second TV advert.
The £2.5m campaign features a young girl called Katie whose father teaches her about the billions of friendly bacteria contained in every little bottle of the fermented milk drink.
Dubbed Hello Again', the format mirrors the company's most successful 10-second television commercial to date.
Yakult claims to have developed a new market worth more than £20m since it was launched in Britain in 1996, selling 200,000 bottles a day.
The month-long campaign will start in August on ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 and satellite, coinciding with an update to the product's pack design to improve instore visibility.
Press and point of sale pushes are also planned.
