Yazoo has launched its Inspirations milkshake range featuring two new flavours.
The range (rsp: £1.50/300ml) includes Birthday Cake and Caramel Blondie SKUs and is available in wholesale and grocery now.
The FrieslandCampina-owned brand said the flavours had been developed to capitalise on the growing consumer demand for indulgent, on-the-go treats and support driving incremental sales for retailers.
It added that the flavours outperformed the leading indulgent flavoured milk in testing with over 2,000 consumers, with a higher overall appeal, purchase intent, and taste preference.
The testing found that two-thirds of people felt the flavours were unique. There was a 91% concept appeal and a purchase intent of 82%.
“These unique flavours, inspired by popular treats, offer retailers a fantastic opportunity to tap into the growing demand for indulgent, on-the-go options and drive incremental sales,” said Gabriella Sudall, marketing manager, FrieslandCampina UK. “We’re confident that Birthday Cake and Caramel Blondie will be a hit with both existing Yazoo fans and new customers alike.”
The line is packaged in 100% recycled plastic bottles with easily peelable sleeves and tethered caps to support with recycling.
The launch will be supported by a £3m above the line media campaign to drive awareness and support within both grocery and wholesale.
The campaign kicks off with in-depot activity, including demo days with sampling, online support and OOH activity.
