Yoplait has launched a four-pack of Wildlife Big Pots as a more affordable alternative to its normal six-pack offering.
The brand said the new pack size would keep its yoghurts as an “accessible option for families”, while also helping the brand drive incremental growth.
The packs include four 85g Wildlife Big Pots (rsp: £1) and are available in Lidl and across wholesale channels now, with expansion to the Co-op planned for September.
“Increasing inflation is driving a change in behaviour in and out of stores and we want to help shoppers manage these costs whilst still being able to enjoy our yoghurts,” said Ewa Moxham, head of marketing at Yoplait UK.
“Making our Wildlife Big Pots available for only £1 means we can focus on accelerating growth whilst remaining accessible to all.”
The yoghurts are available in strawberry and peach flavours, the same as the Wildlife Choobs tubes, and are aimed at older children between six and 12 years old.
The Wildlife portfolio, according to the brand, is worth £13.1m, up 5.4% year on year and contributing to 46% of the growth in the children’s yoghurt category in the past year. The brand claims Wildlife currently represents 17% of the value share of total UK, including discounters.
“We’re bringing fun and adventure to ordinary eating occasions – with everyday low prices,” said Moxham.
