Yorkshire Provender will support youth homelessness charity Centrepoint this Christmas by donating money from the sale of its festive soup.
For every pot of Christmas Turkey Soup With All The Trimmings sold, 20p will go towards helping find homeless young people “a warm and safe” place to sleep over the holiday period, the brand said
The limited-edition product – containing turkey, vegetables, sage, onion, cranberry and chestnut – will be available from 5 to 24 December from Waitrose, Ocado and Nisa (rsp: £2.50/600g).
Centrepoint is one of the UK’s most prominent youth homelessness charities, helping 8,400 young people each year to tackle the issues that led them to become homeless and give them the support they need to live independently.
Earlier this month, five members of staff from Yorkshire Provender and its owner Hain Daniels took part in Centrepoint’s annual Sleepout at Greenwich Peninsula, raising £5,000 for the organisation.
