Young’s is expanding its Asda-exclusive Funky fish Kitchen chilled fish brand with six new products.
The new lines launch on 14 September, and comprise two ready-to-eat meal pots and four ready-to-cook variants, all supported by multibuys. Ready-to-eat flavours include smoked salmon with spiced orange, onion & balsamic marmalade; while the ready-to-cook range includes river cobbler fillets with Thai green curry sauces.
Asda first listed the brand with 11 variants a year ago as a rival to the likes of The Saucy Fish Co. The range achieved sales of £7.4m by March this year, said Young’s, which aims to hit £10m sales by year-end.
