Young's hopes to double sales of its Double Chocolate Stout over the festive period with promotional activities in three major multiples. Its key bottled brand is Sainsbury's Beer of the Month for December, and features on a recipe card for shoppers who want to try cooking with beer. Tesco has given Double Chocolate Stout a national listing. And Safeway will trial a gift pack containing beer, branded pint glass and dark chocolate rum.
