Palmer & Harvey McLane has rebranded its Northern Irish convenience brand Your Store to mirror the branding of its burgeoning Mace empire on the UK mainland.
The old green, diamond-shaped Your Store logo has been replaced with a blue and silver lozenge-shaped logo, similar to that of the new-look Mace brand in Scotland, England and Wales.
P&H has just under 50 Your Stores in Northern Ireland, three of which have been converted so far, with others in the pipeline.
Mark Dallinson, the symbol group’s general manager, said that there had been a great response to what he said was a fresher, more modern Your Store package. “We hope to see the new-look brand significantly boost our membership figures for Northern Ireland in the near future,” he added.
The Your Store format is currently being phased out in Scotland after P&H bought the Scottish Mace business from Somerfield in May. The delivered wholesaler is aiming to quadruple the Mace membership in Scotland to 120 by next year.
