Adult soft drink brand Zeo is expanding its range of 750ml bottles with new flavour Cloudy Lemon (rsp: £2.49). Launching this month in Tesco, the drink takes the range to five flavours – along with Blood Orange & Citrus, Peach & Grapefruit, Mixed Berry, and Zesty Lime. Made with a combination of stevia and cane sugar, Zeo Cloudy Lemon contains 2.2g of sugar per 100ml – which compares to 5g per 100ml in coconut water, and 6.7g in Coca-Cola Life.
“The soft drinks market is changing,” said Zeo marketing director Ian Greengrass. “People are demanding great tasting products that don’t carry health warnings.
“We are proud to be offering consumers natural alternatives, but are mindful of the need to constantly excite and innovate when it comes to flavour offerings,” he added. “We are certain our new Cloudy Lemon variant will be a welcome addition to Zeo’s existing range.”
Zeo relaunched in April to highlight its use of natural ingredients, and lower calorie content. In August, it introduced its first cans, aimed at the convenience channel.
The brand is owned by Freedrinks - a subsidiary of a Russian business owned by billionaire Igor Sosin.
