HT Drinks has launched a website allowing retailers to order from its drinks portfolio 24/7.
The site offers nationwide delivery and features an extensive range of soft drinks and alcohol, including more than 150 varieties of gin and over 100 vodkas.
Created entirely in-house, the site took over a year to fully integrate within the wholesaler’s system. It is now working with a number of suppliers to support advertising and product offers on the site.
HT Drinks also operates a consumer retail site, Drinks Supermarket, which is optimised to register on consumer search engines. HT Drinks online is only available to trade customers.
“We learned a lot from Drinks Supermarket and we tried to bring it into a B2B environment,” said HT Drinks MD Sanjay Thakrar.
“When we looked at the industry we didn’t feel like anyone had something as innovative or in a consumer style. The site allows a customer in Glasgow or a customer in Portsmouth to see what we’ve got and we don’t even have to send a flyer. It expands our reach which is really important.”
