Pesto maker Sacla’ has made three senior appointments as it eyes growth.
It has hired Lindsay Hill as head of marketing, Phil Davies as head of e-commerce and Neil Arthey as sales director.
Davies has over 20 years’ experience in ecommerce and digital marketing. He joins Sacla’ from his previous role as head of digital for healthcare marketplace Wippet.
His key focus will be optimising the customer journey and growing direct-to-consumer e-commerce sales at Sacla.co.uk.
Arthey was a “proven successful commercial leader” with “extensive experience working in the UK and EMEA for blue chip fmcg multinationals and SMEs”, said Sacla’.
He has previously held senior sales roles at Tyrrells, Filippo Berio and Dairy Crest.
Hill joins the business from her previous role as head of marketing for Yoplait UK. She has over 20 years’ fmcg experience, working in marketing and business unit leadership roles for companies such as General Mills.
Hill said she was “delighted to be joining Sacla’ at such an exciting time for the brand with significant investment and innovation planned for 2023”.
Sacla’ had “huge headroom for growth and an unwavering commitment to product quality and experience”, she said.
Sacla’ UK MD Clare Blampied said the business was “going for growth”.
