Women in Wholesale

Five senior executives from Booker have taken up new roles with organisation Women in Wholesale.

Booker group people director Rebecca Mallows will join the leadership team as member of the steering committee.

Alongside Mallows, four Booker group executives have joined the organisation as mentors.

The four new mentors are sales director Nikki Watts, supply chain director Trudy Wilson, commercial director Sheila Gallagher, and retail development controller Abbie Hackwell.

Together with Mallows, they will be involved in supporting WiW’s next Speed Mentoring event.

Mallows joins as steering committee member as the organisation prepares to celebrate its 10-year anniversary.

To mark the milestone, the group will publish its WiW10 Report, shedding light on key barriers and progress in the wholesale sector.

“Having Rebecca on board brings a crucial HR perspective to the steerco, ensuring that our initiatives continue to make a tangible impact,” said WiW chairperson Clare Bocking. “Her expertise will be invaluable as we work towards real, lasting change in the industry.”

New mentor Gallagher added: “Booker is proud to support Women in Wholesale and to play an active role in shaping the future of our industry. Our leaders are looking forward to mentoring at WiW Speed Mentoring and helping to inspire the next generation of talent.”
