Who was your first teenage crush and why? When a car ran over my foot in St Ives! No, seriously, my first teenage crush would have to be a pretty girl with lovely eyes I met on a holiday at my aunt's caravan in Wales. Her pesky little brother followed us everywhere. I contrived to go back to see her the weekend after we left but alas she had gone.

What's your idea of the perfect meal? Fresh sea bass baked in salt as they prepare it in Spain.

What's your favourite junk food? KFC. The coating is very addictive!

What's the weirdest thing you've eaten? A fish stew in a Milan restaurant where the whole fish, including eyes, was present. I managed to eat it but felt pretty queasy afterwards!

What luxury would you have on your desert island? An MP3 player with my favourite music such as The Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel, Bread, Jamie Cullum, Michael Bublé to name but a few. And Bach.

If you could star in a television programme, what would it be and why? Meet your Ancestors as I'd love to gain an insight into who they were.
