Young’s Seafood has announced the hire of Nick Munday as international sales director.
Munday will lead the seafood supplier’s international programme as part of the newly created role, which will include responsibilities in the US, Australia and Asia.
Prior to Young’s, Munday worked for three years as international controller at Thorntons, following positions at Global Brands, Constellation Europe, Hardy Wine Company and the Cadbury Group.
“I’m delighted to join the team,” said Munday. “With much-loved ranges including Gastro and Chip Shop, together with an industry-leading innovation stream, Young’s has the potential to become a global brand. Driving the international programme is a great opportunity to inspire more people around the world to love fish now and for generations to come.”
Bill Showalter, interim CEO of Young’s Seafood, said: “I’m pleased to announce Nick Munday has joined Young’s Seafood to lead our international agenda, which is an important part of our strategic plan. He brings a wealth of experience in driving international growth with leading fmcg brands.”
