Tesco is offering all 310,000 of its staff the option of free health checks, after launching its first Colleague Health Month.
The retailer has teamed up with Nuffield Health to offer checks on BMI, blood pressure and cholesterol.
It said all staff would be eligible, from those working in HQ roles to those working in stores.
Tesco employees have been given until 15 February to register their interest, while those unable to attend a Nuffield Centre are able to complete an online version of the Mini Health Check.
The Colleague Health Month also includes other initiatives, including free fruit throughout January and a new online tool that provides advice on mental health awareness.
“We want to help all our colleagues live healthier lives, so we’ve launched our first-ever Colleague Health Month,” said UK and ROI people director Natasha Adams.
“The initiative will help highlight the little steps we can all take to improve health, focused around what we eat and drink, keeping fit, and dealing with our busy day-to-day lives.”
