How does the company differ from its rivals? Clipper has a more genuine heritage than its rivals; it's always had organic and fair trade at its foundation. We're flexible, not preaching, and on a creative journey into the world of tea.

Is there a definable company culture? There is a can-do culture that is distinctly Clipper.

If the company were a car what would it be and why? A VW beetle convertible as it's a small car we are a small company and a modern take on a traditional product, with a considered design that is much loved.

What's the training like? Training and development are always ongoing and far too extensive to list but currently we have employees completing external training in basic computer workshops and NVQ level 4, IDG postgraduate qualifications in marketing and a credit management diploma.

What's your proudest achievement over the last 12 months? Having only joined Clipper 12 months ago in a position that was new for the company, it's been a busy year, spent reviewing and implementing new policies, procedures and HR systems.

What is the most important HR issue at the moment? Supporting the management team, ensuring we have the skills we need, and continuing to work towards making Clipper a great place to work for everyone.
