A range of Moroccan wines is seeking its first retail listings in the UK. The wines are the fruit of major investment by Pierre Castel who during the 1990s breathed new life into old vineyards in the Moroccan winemaking areas of Boulaouane and Meknes. The portfolio  handled by wine brokers Lane & Tatham  includes a Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah from Atlas Vineyards (rsp £3.99), Domaine Mayole Cabernet Sauvignon/Syrah, Domaine Larroque Merlot /Syrah, Domaine Bonassia Merlot/Cabernet Sauvignon (all £4.49) and Domaine L'Excellence Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot (£5.49). {{DRINKS }}
