Restaurant brand manufacturer All About Food has unveiled a new pasta sauce range under the Pizza Express portfolio the first restaurant-branded retail sauce range, it claims.
The four-strong ambient line-up is available from September in Pomodora Basilico (tomato & basil), Arrabiata (tomato & chilli), Amatriciana (tomato & pancetta) and Melanzane (tomato & aubergine) flavours (rsp: £1.99). Positioned at the premium end of the market, the range would stand out from rival brands, including Sacla' and Loyd Grossman, by bringing "yet-to-be-seen quality to the marketplace", the company claimed.
"These sauces will attract the 26 million Pizza Express consumers who visit the restaurants each year," said All About Food marketing director Ben Johnson.
The newcomer will benefit from cross-promotion across the Pizza Express branded pizza and salad dressing retail ranges.
