Premier Foods sold more shares than is planned following its flotation.
The maker of Branston Pickle and Typhoo Tea has been valued at £540m after it sold £350m of shares yesterday.
The strong interest from investors came after the company decided to drop the offer price from its initial range of 230-260p per share.
