Dairy Farmers of Britain
has appointed David Potts as its new group commercial director, replacing Andrew Cooksey, who
was promoted to chief
executive at the beginning of the year.
Potts joins Dairy Farmers of Britain from Müller Dairy UK where he has worked for 17 years, most recently as
its sales director.
In his new position, he will be responsible for leading the sales, marketing and new product development functions across the business, as well as providing focus and direction to Dairy Farmers of Britain's commercial activities.
He will report directly
to Andrew Cooksey, who said: "It is great to be able to welcome David to the senior management team at Dairy Farmers of Britain.
His considerable experience will be invaluable to us as we work to grow and diversify our range of branded products."
Potts added that he was looking forward to developing the business and
helping it to become a "leading manufacturer of branded dairy goods".
