What was your first job? I was a goods-in operative in a Lidl distribution centre in London, Enfield, one of my favourite roles I have done. It laid a perfect foundation of all the coming roles I have done and my current role as well.
What’s been your worst job interview? One of my interviews was interrupted by a fire alarm at the company’s head office. The interview was held on Teams, and they just left the office without turning the call off or anything, and I was sitting in the call alone for 15-20 minutes until they returned. Sat back in their chair and continued the call like nothing happened.

What was the first music single you bought?
How do you describe your job to your friends? That I make sure the UK’s most delicious cheesecakes get from our kitchens to your local supermarket!
What is the most rewarding part of your job? Having cheesecake available to eat at all times.
What is the least rewarding part? It’s a non-stop operation and I need to always be on the ball, with very little downtime!
What is your motto in life? “Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is knowing not to put it in a fruit salad.”
If you were allowed one dream perk, what would it be? To go back to being 10 years old and start it over again.
Do you have any phobias? I have a serious fear of social media and being stuck on the internet.
If you could change one thing in grocery, what would it be? Quality over quantity and variety.

Which celebrity would you most like to work with and why? Steve McQueen. He had a cool lifestyle which I have some level of envy for. Especially the car racing.
