Richard Robinson is the new MD for bagged snack producer Intersnack UK.
He takes over from Calum Ryder, who is leaving later this month to "pursue new interests".
Robinson was most recently commercial director and business unit director of Northern Foods' frozen division. Prior to that he spent nine years at Young's Seafood.
"CSN is a buoyant sector and Intersnack has a sound business model combined with a strong portfolio," Robinson said.
Based in Stanley, Durham, Intersnack UK owns the Pom-Bear and Penn State brands.
