What's your nickname? Pugsy - given to me by my mate Johnny Lake at age six.
Who was your first teenage crush and why? Debbie Harry in a sparkly dress on Top of the Pops - need I say more!
When was the first time you got drunk? I found a bottle of port and a bottle of whisky in my dad's drinks cabinet. My mate Jacko has never touched either since. That was in 1981.
What was the first music single you bought? Don't Bring Me Down by ELO (apart from three Wombles singles that I don't talk about).
What did you want to be when you were a kid? Captain of Industry or a tractor driver.
What's your favourite book and why? The Collected Works of Dickens because it has something for every occasion.
What's your favourite movie and why? Star Wars, no question about it. The biggest impact for an 11-year-old that the cinema could produce in the late 70s.
What was your worst holiday? The skin-soaking Welsh and Scottish ones, although looking back I have fond memories of them now.
What was your most embarrassing moment? Jumping into a fast-flowing river in Italy in front of the local girls and discovering my trunks had floated to the next town.
Any phobias? Nakedness in front of Italian girls.
If you could pick a celebrity to join your staff who would it be and why? Bill Bailey - we all realise he's the only celeb who would fit into the team.
Who would you most like to sit next to on a plane? George Bush.
What would you request as your final meal? If the elixir of life was not available, then Sweet Thai Chilli Crisps.
What's your favourite junk food? I have occasionally been known to find a kebab in my lounge the morning after.
What's the weirdest thing you've eaten? Chocolate-covered ants.
What's your favourite chat up line? As I say to all the girls who enquire about Crips, "All the pleasure, none of the pain".
What luxury would you have on your desert island? My bike, if the sand wasn't sticky. Or I'd take my guitar and learn chord number four.
