Iolanda Hudson, marketing manager for soft drink brand Silver Spring 1870, on white stilettos and outdoor swimming
What was your first-ever job? Selling white leather stilettos in the 80s on a family friend's market stall.
You've got 25 words to describe your career to date. Variety and lots of fun. From managing multimillion pound budgets to self-funding projects, from PR stunts with celebrities to chaperoning Noddy.
How do you describe your job to your mates? Glamorously. At the moment I'm working with the Guards Polo Club on the launch of Silver Spring's 1870 mixer range so I'm often turning down social dates in favour of Cartier Polo or some such fabulous occasion.
What is the worst job you've ever had? Any photo shoots involving kids and/or animals.
If you could change one thing in the grocery industry, what would it be? A better share of voice for small and independent manufacturers. It shouldn't all come down to money I'd like to see easier routes to market for smaller players.
What is the most rewarding part of your job? Apart from seeing sales increase, taking an original idea from concept through to completion.
What is the least rewarding part? Working very hard on a project or campaign that never sees the light of day.
If you didn't work in grocery where would you work? When my three-year-old son is older, perhaps travel.
What was your worst job interview? Just before going in I tipped an entire cup of black coffee down the front of my suit. I got a second interview, but it was by far my worst interview experience.
If you were allowed one dream perk what would it be? An office with a sea view.
What do you like to do outside of work? Family and friends' gatherings, whatever the occasion. After a stressful day I love to swim in a heated outdoor pool, particularly on a cold evening.
What's your nickname? Lans, for obvious reasons.
What was the first music single you bought? I think it was Adam and the Ants, Prince Charming.
What did you want to be when you were a kid? A teacher or a hairdresser
What's your favourite movie? Moulin Rouge - the set, dancing and music are spectacular.
Do you have any phobias? A wine shortage.
What would you request as your final meal? How depressing! I'd forgo the meal in favour of a cocktail.
What animal best reflects your personality? A giraffe - head in the clouds but calm and good to be around.
