What’s your nickname? At the moment it’s J-Ro, like J-Lo, but it’s after my computer login, not my body shape. 

Who was your first teenage crush and why? It was either Janet Ellis from Blue Peter or Elizabeth Sladen from Doctor Who. I can’t remember which was first. 

When was the first time you got drunk? I’m not sure when, but it was probably on sherry from my parents’ drinks cabinet. I know how to serve Sherry properly now but not much else has changed! 

What did you want to be when you were a kid? Something to do with Ferraris. But back then I didn’t know you could be paid to drink sherry. 

What’s your favourite book and why? Too many to say, too many left to read. 

What was your worst holiday and why? Bournemouth when I was seven. It rained all week, my parents were stressed and shouting at each other because there was nothing to do and my brother cried all week. 

What was the most embarrassing moment in your life? House-sitting for my mother-in-law, while she was away. I walked out the bathroom naked and straight into her partner and his son, who I’d never met!

If you could pick a celebrity to join your staff who would it be and why? How about Machiavelli - he could help with a few issues. 

Who would you most like to sit next to on a plane? Scarlett Johansson. 

What’s your favourite junk food? Kettle Chips. 

What is the weirdest thing you’ve eaten? I’ve eaten horse and goat a few times, but the weirdest tasting thing was probably sea urchin, I still can’t work out if I liked it. 

What luxury would you have on your desert island? A fridge full of ice cold Tio Pepe. 

If you could star in a TV show, what would it be and why? I can’t get enough of Ashes to Ashes. The clothes and the music remind me of growing up, and I always wanted a Quattro. 

If you could be invisible for the day, what would you do? Mess about with the Lottery balls. If I don’t ever get washed up on a desert island, maybe I can settle for buying one.
