What did you want to be when you were a child? An Olympic swimmer because I used to win lots of trophies.
What's your favourite book and why? The Da Vinci Code. It is a fascinating twist on religion, history and interpretation.
What's your favourite movie and why? Gladiator. It is a great story with some brilliant characters - and Russell Crowe isn't that bad either!
What was your worst holiday? Majorca. We got re-routed to Glasgow airport where we were stranded for eight hours.
What was the most embarrassing moment in your life? I nearly missed a wedding in New York due to a scribble in my passport. I arrived at the church with my suitcase minutes before the bride.
Do you have any phobias? I am scared of the dark.
