When was the first time you got drunk and what did you drink? It was Christmas when I was a teenager. My dad gave me some horrible black stuff with a creamy head to 'put me off it for life'... although it appears to have had the opposite effect.
What was the first music single you bought? All Right Now by Free .
What did you want to be when you were a kid? Prime minister or a professional footballer.
What's your favourite book and why? The Moonstone, by Wilkie Collins. I was given it as a prize at school and read a lot better for it.
What's your favourite movie and why? Saturday Night Fever, it has an absolutely brilliant soundtrack.
What was your worst holiday and why? The Windy Hill campsite in Cornwall and, frankly, it did exactly what it said on the sign.
