You've got 25 words to describe your career. I left school and started the business with my dad and we haven't looked back. I'd always wanted to be my own boss but couldn't have done it alone.
How do you describe your job to mates? Willy Wonka in an ice cream factory.
What is the worst job you've ever had? Christmas staff at Burtons, endlessly folding jumpers. The 'touch it hold it, we'll re-fold it' sign was soon lost forever.
If you could change one thing in grocery, what would it be? The idea frozen products are inferior to chilled when very often the opposite is true. Freezing is such a natural storage method.
If you didn't work in grocery where would you work? Advertising. I do our marketing and branding etc and really enjoy it.
What's your best interview tip? Even if it's going badly, don't challenge the interviewer to an arm wrestle.
What was your worst job interview? Never had one. Dad and I subconsciously interviewed each other before we started the business. That'll teach him.
Where do you hope to be in five years? Converting even more people to Beckleberry's patisserie & sorbet. Dad and I have got a sound base to build from and a lot of ideas.
What is your motto in life? No matter how many times I get knocked down, I'll always get back up.
What's your nickname? "Ginge" or "Garfield" due to my strawberry blonde hair and love of lasagne.
What was the first music single you bought? K-Klass' classic Let Me Show You Love.
What's your favourite movie? The original The Producers. Laugh-out-loud funny.
What has been the most embarrassing moment in your life? Accidentally "rescuing" an unsuspecting old lady swimmer instead of my dummy while doing my lifeguarding exam. I towed her 20 metres on her back to the pool side before I saw the examiner's face. She never flinched. I re-did it and passed.
Do you have any phobias? Heights.
What would you request as your final meal? Fish and chips on the beach with my fiancée just as the sun sets.
What's the weirdest thing you've eaten? Curried pineapple ice cream. Not one for the faint-hearted.
What animal best reflects your personality and why? My mam and dad's boxer dog - loyal, determined and a bit unhinged sometimes.
