Scotch whisky producer Burn Stewart Distillers has promoted Fraser Thornton to managing director.
Thornton, who has worked at Burn Stewart since 1996, was previously marketing director. He has held a number of senior commercial roles at the company, including heading the UK sales function.
Thornton will focus on continuing its development as a premium Scotch whisky producer. Its brands include Scottish Leader, Black Bottle and Bunnahabhain.
