What was your first job? I was a chambermaid in a country house hotel when I was 12. I was riding my little pony past their kitchen window, I asked if they had any work – and they said yes!
What’s been your worst job interview? OK, so I got the job but I once interviewed for an estate agent… and I was absolutely hopeless. Word stumbling, mind blanks, the works.
What was the first music single you bought? Tina Turner – Simply the Best. It was my first cassette!

How do you describe your job to your friends? It’s always the same. I don’t really know what I do, but I am very busy doing it! Part-time farmer and part-time marketeer.
What is the most rewarding part of your job? Working with amazing people. I’m surrounded with a fantastic team. Plus, I’m a farmer and I just love animals.
What is the least rewarding part? When things break down on the farm – from losing electricity, to water pumps not working, that kind of thing. And it will always be in the middle of a storm or a Friday evening.
What is your motto in life? Work hard. Play hard.
If you were allowed one dream perk, what would it be? I would want my own private chef. I like eating healthily, so cooking from scratch is most important.
Do you have any phobias? Spiders – I absolutely hate them. I can deal with everything else but them. I can’t even look at them.
If you could change one thing in grocery, what would it be? To remove all processed food, and highlight the importance of amazing fresh and natural food.
What luxury would you have on a desert island? A cigar. I just love a cigar. It makes my toes tingle, the flavour and the smell: perfection.
What animal most reflects your personality? A thoroughbred racehorse. They like running at high speed and they’re highly intelligent (not!). They’re gentle, empathetic, telepathic, incredibly giving animals and I just love them.
What’s your favourite film and why? Mr Bean films – they are hilarious. For all ages and all nationalities. They make people laugh and laughing is so important in life!

What has been the most embarrassing moment in your life? Oh my gosh, probably turning up at Cheltenham Racecourse, jumping in the queue in a pair of jeans and unknowingly having a pair of old tights hanging out the bottom – think animal tail. At least my friends have my back, they told me ASAP! Mortifying.
Which celebrity would you most like to work with and why? I’m not sure, but Joe Wicks comes to mind. We have similar values when it comes to nutrition and fresh ingredient cooking.
What would your death row meal be? I’ve got two… one would be some incredible canapés made by the Roux brothers and the other would be my mum’s incredible cottage pie!
