Frank Straetmans is to become supply chain director of Croydon-based wholesaler Dawson News.
The role is a new one for the company, which restructured in the second half of last year.
Straetmans joins the Dawson News team on 1 February from Eagle Global Logistics, where he held the position of UK director of operations.
"I am very excited about joining Dawson News in this role," said Straetmans. "It is a well-established and solid provider of distribution services, and I look forward to building on these foundations and driving forward new initiatives to further enhance the customer offer."
Managing director John Townley said he was delighted that Straetmans was joining the executive team at Dawson News.
"He brings a skills set and proven track record, which will be crucial as we address the challenges and opportunities presented by an evolving newspaper and magazine supply chain," added Townley.
