Does the company offer any unusual benefits? All of the team are effectively the Sweet Express Tasting Panel and are the first to sample any new products!
How does Sweet Express differ from its rivals? We're interested in quality and what our customers want, so rather than source from one supplier and in bulk, we source our products from a variety of suppliers worldwide. We're always open to suggestions from our staff and customers on what they would like from Sweet Express perhaps they want a flavour of fudge they recently sampled on a seaside holiday... we want to hear them.
Is there a definable company culture? We are a family-run business and traditional values are core to our company. We believe in efficiency, development and a hands-on approach. We want our customers to have a unique experience and are focused on bringing this traditional working model into the modern world.
If Sweet Express were a car, what would it be? It would be a clown car! Fun, bright, animated and exciting on the outside but efficient, hardworking and reliable under the bonnet.
Has the company won any awards in the last few years as an employer? As a company that is only 18 months old, we've not won any awards yet. We did, however, present an award at this year's SCEPTRE Awards, which recognise excellence in the shopping centre industry.
What's been your proudest achievement of the past year? Working at some amazing venues such as Canary Wharf, Birmingham's Bullring and Manchester Piccadilly, with amazing people. And hearing positive feedback from our consumers up and down the country.
