What's it like to work for your company? It is very fast paced, but extremely rewarding at the same time. As one of the largest and most successful logistics providers to the food and drink industry, handling more than 10,000 pallets on behalf of 90 premium brand customers every day, we operate in a highly dynamic environment.

Why is it a good employer? Culina offers a diverse range of career routes, whether it be in transport, warehousing, contract packing, IT, customer relations or marketing and we are proud to have created 1,000 new posts in the past two years alone.

What's the best thing about working there? Despite our size, we've kept our structure very flat, which facilitates open communication with all our people, helping to build a strong, and close knit team. As a result we are collectively focused on the goals we are aiming to achieve for our customers.

How does the company differ from its rivals? We operate on behalf of more chilled food and drink manufacturers than any other logistics provider in the UK and we have an unrivalled range of services to provide a truly integrated supply chain management solution to maximise cost efficiencies.

Is there a definable company culture? It's a real can-do culture. We're absolutely obsessed with getting things done right first time and on time in full.

If the company were a car what would it be and why? An Audi high quality, excellent performance and advanced technology, without the huge price tag.

What's the training like? We have introduced a company-wide employee development programme. A number of specialist, dedicated internal and external providers deliver the training programmes, which range from NVQs to specialist programmes.

Has the company won any awards in the past few years as an employer?  We've started the Investors in People process, and have recently been re-accredited with Business Excellence.

What's your proudest achievement of the past 12 months? The successful integration of the Wincanton chilled business. In a very short period of time we have seamlessly transferred its customer base into our business.

What is the most important HR issue you are dealing with at the moment? Internal communications, which is always a challenge due to our size. It is critical that we listen and respond to our employees they are our eyes and ears.

Are you looking for any people right now? Our website, www.culinalogistics.co.uk, shows any current vacancies we have.

How does one go about applying for a job? Either via the website or by speaking to one of the HR team at the respective depots around the country.
