Kirsten Smith is to become red meat executive at Hybu Cig Cymru, Meat Promotion Wales.
The new role sees her take responsibility for enhancing, delivering and implementing Welsh red-meat strategy to complement Welsh Assembly policies for the wider food and drink industry.
She has previously worked for the National Assembly for Wales' agricultural department and Hybu Cig Cymru as an industry development project co-ordinator.
