Marlow Foods is adding two new products to its Quorn range in time for the summer barbecue season.
The manufacturer, which claims a market-leading 16.6% share of the meat-free arena, is introducing Quorn Ribsters and Quorn Balls.
‘Pork style’ Ribsters is said to be the first product of its kind in the category, positioned as a healthy option for the summer barbecue. Containing the usual ‘mycoprotein’ Quorn ingredient, a four-pack weighing in at 168g carries an rsp of £1.69.
Meanwhile, ‘Swedish style’ balls containing onion and spice seasoning come in a 300g pack, rsp: £2.19.
Both newcomers are going into chillers in Tesco in the first instance from this month.
