Morrisons has launched its Christmas food range for 2024, featuring a largely traditional lineup with some trend-forward new launches.

The retailer says many of the new lines will be prepared fresh daily at the its Market Street deli counters by in-store butchers and bakers.

New in centrepieces are the British lamb guard of honour with pork & apricot stuffing, while the mushroom, spinach & pinenut mini wellingtons from Morrisons’ plant-based Plant Revolution range makes for a meat alternative option, with white, shiitake and oyster mushrooms.

Morrisons is aiming to stand out with its party food offer, including fondue cheese bites, pork belly bites with maple BBQ sauce and a three cheese tear & share Christmas tree. The supermarket is also offering innovation on desserts, seen in its passionfruit martini panettone – a twist on the Italian classic – and the sticky cascade toffee pudding with a spiral design ready to drizzle with chocolate sauce.
