Sainsbury’s has lifted the lid on its 2024 Taste the Difference Christmas range, blending premium with convenience. This year, there’s a focus on seafood with new additions including Lobster Thermidor Crumpets, Smoked Salmon & Maple Terrine, King Prawns in Duvets, Mini Scallop & Chorizo Shells and a Shellfish Medley.
“We know spending time with family and friends takes priority so we’ve taken the fuss out of cooking with new launches like our Christmas Dinner Box which is ready to serve in just an hour,” says Sainsbury’s director of product innovation Claire Hughes.
“Whether you’re looking for scrumptious party food and sensational centrepieces to wow guests, chocolate hazelnut sweet treats to indulge in, or a festive tipple to warm your cockles this winter, you’ll be able to Taste the Difference in every sip, scoop, and mouthful.”
The retailer has leaned into gifting this Christmas, offering a mix of decorative packaging across the range, from mini panettones to Christmas tree biscuit tins and geometric liqueur bottles.
Sainsbury’s also aims to broaden its appeal to time-pressed shoppers this year with new food-to-go items like the Porchetta Sandwich and Veggie Wrap, along with more elaborate centrepieces for those opting for a traditional Christmas dinner.
