Specially Selected Butterfly Flutter & Bloom Egg

Covered in the joys of spring, the outer shell of this hand-decorated egg is made with milk chocolate with a smaller Belgian blonde chocolate egg inside. It’s available in stores from 15 March.
Piñata Chick
Rsp: £4.99
Crack open this sombrero-topped chocolate chick to reveal a pile of chocolate mini eggs. It’s on sale from 9 February.
Gin White Chocolate Egg
Rsp: £4.99
Probably not suitable for the family Easter egg hunt, this white chocolate egg is infused with gin and juniper flavours and finished with an edible lustre. Available 9 February.
Prosecco & Raspberry Milk Chocolate Egg

A second boozy egg set to join the Aldi Easter line-up, this milk chocolate version is infused with prosecco and raspberry flavours. It will be in stores from 9 February.
Aldi’s Moser Roth Ripple Eggs & Truffles

Aldi is bringing back its popular ripple eggs with a selection of matching truffles. Flavours include Belgian milk chocolate with salted caramel truffles, Belgian dark chocolate with hazelnut praline truffles or Belgian white chocolate with white chocolate truffles. In store from 9 February.
Curious Inventions Easter Eggs

The retailer is bringing three new flavours to its Willy Wonka-inspired Curious Inventions range. The milk chocolate Salted Pretzel & Orange egg is infused with chocolate fudge pieces, orange jellies, dark chocolate drops and mini salted pretzels. Banoffee combines milk chocolate with sweetened banana chips, salted caramel and salted fudge pieces while Eton Mess is made with white chocolate, meringue drops and freeze-dried strawberries. All three will be on sale from 9 February.
