Kinder managed to bag an extra £2.2m in value last year, largely due to average price increases of 3.4%. (Volumes were down 2.1%.) The brand also invested in plenty of NPD including Kinder Surprise Pink & Blue eggs, sharer box Kinder Bueno Mini Mix, a Halloween variant of Kinder Choco-Bons and a new flavour, Kinder Bueno Coconut. Seasonal activity was another key driver of sales, with Kinder’s seasonal range for Easter 2017 reaching almost £20m in total.
