Although I supply a different area to the confectionary supplier, I have a great deal of sympathy for their plight. The health police forget that if consumers want a chocolate kick, they will just buy two Mars bars rather than one, or even worse a multipack! The people that are suggesting this should get out more and understand the psychology of around obesity.  Julian Hunt is right that the industry as a whole is trying to change things for the better - not easy with the current down turn, tight commercial margins and just staying afloat!
