It seems like Tesco top management is loosing ground. When they make lay down experts and specialists at head office the reason they for this is to improve services to our customers by bringing more staff at stores. Now they behave wildly to team leaders at stores who are not managers but experienced multitasking staff members who help their colleagues while they themselves acting as one of the rest of the team they coach and share experiences with. I think the worst time is coming for Tesco. At head office there are multiple duplicate managers specially in IT teams across the group who are paid as expensive as 15-20 employees while doing nothing. Just meeting and providing fictive reporting etc. Everything is being outsourced to friendly external IT companies who reward them during XMAS and expensive holiday expenses etc. It's hard to believe how long Tesco can continue to function this way.
