This is not putting the customer first, customers want more staff on the SERVICE floor. How about stop making unproductive roles such as better service managers, personnel managers that could achieve their job role in a 16 hour week and deputy managers who seem to be just a middle man between senior team and line managers...
Savings can be made but not at the expense of the people running the business at ground level!
