Hi, I'm a Department Manager at Morrisons (which I guess is the same as a Line Manager at Tescos?). We were told about restructure trials happening with us over the last year. Still no concrete news.

Seems they're all going the same way.

That said, if Department/Line Managers at Tescos are as bad as the assistants/TLs are making out here I can see where the company is failing.

Can only speak for the store where I work but the department Managers are the ones that do the hard graft/put the hours in for the most part.

Would be really interesting to see how these stores cope without the additional hours worked for nothing by the Dep. Managers and the specific knowledge they bring to their department.
