Now our store that I currently work In has been short staffed since before Xmas roles they had created for example front of store and better services manager were cut by our store manager as they were pointless positions. Now I understand that it is being trialled out in a few stores but the payment protection will have to be taken into account, and chances are this will completely go to pot coz there is no way that all the departments in the store would run without team leaders. There are some tht could for example bakery frozen counters and there isn't a need for 2 non food team leaders or petrol station but at the same time removing that position would remove the bridge from customer assistants yo the managers. It is just another money scheme which will ultimately fail but then it could take a long time to implement this in all stores if it worked but it won't it's going to fail
