Philip Clarke has surrounded himself with 'Yes' people who are lining their pockets and in turn surrounding themselves with other 'Yes' people. Anyone in a senior position who genuinely cared about Tesco, it's people and customers, and making the Company successful is long gone I'm afraid to say. Tesco has been doomed for some considerable time, when it started to be run several years ago by weak, spineless 'leaders' who might have some good ideas, but do not have the capability to execute anything. This business is spiralling out of control...and someone needs to get hold of it and bring back people who cared enough to stand up and be counted.
