I don't work for Tesco, my OH does.

Tesco employees have had it good for years. Staff discount, share save, flexible working, annual pay increases.

I work Full Time in the public sector. I haven't had a pay rise in 4 years and due to the restructuring of my department had to reapply for my own position so I understand the torment TL's are feeling.

On the other hand TL is not the position to be removed as generaly that role seems to be value for money for the business. I think Senior Team roles are where the real money is being lost. Team Managers are salaried and work extra hours every day and do not get any over time pay but Senior Team are paid excessively more and for the business do not reflect value for money or customer satisfaction.
