T Leaders have been used as scapegoats too many times. Who will they blame in the future when business goes pear shaped. Share price reflects business performance & this will not recover for some time- dont do share options!!! I would suggest T Ls work to rule & do not work unpaid overtime .
How unprofessional of Tescos for this be communicated by the media without having consultations with staff first. As with many operations Tescos undertake they rarely get it right first time.
Also as USDAW has taken a back seat look at your Home Insce or Car Insce as this may provide legal expenses cover for employment issues especially in the area of protected pay.

Just one more note on a positive. If TLs do not do the extra hours unpaid & they become GAs then no doubt Tescos will have to pay overtime to cover work pressures so on this basis you would actually get paid for doing ot which might help towards the possible shortfall in wages if any.
