It is utterly disgusting. TL are the backbone of the company, TL often know more than some of the managers (especially those who have come through the graduate programme and have never worked for Tesco before as a TL or GA)
Do Tesco have no conscious? Do they realise how many people may lose their homes and family because of this so called restructure?
It's ok for people like Philip Clarke who have huge pensions, shares in the company, bonuses, and an extravagant yearly salary, what about the people who actually work on the shop floor, trying to work to survive?
Try getting a job in this climate, it has taken friends of mine who have lost their jobs, through one reason or another, upto a year to find alternative employment. Thanks Mr Clarke.
