I do not get why they are even thinking this. The Team Leaders do so much and without them everything will fall apart.

If my line manager didn't have me he would be having red audits 24/7 as I do so much for him. He isn't a people person at all so I am there to talk to the staff, calm them down and at times I have prevented staff walking out because of a comment he has made to them.

If anything they should reduce the roles of the line managers, still have them but on less hours or they can look at the senior team. All you need is the store manager and night lead manager in superstores and metros. In an extra I would keep the deputy. The personal manager can easily be reduced down to a line manager role.

With unemployment the way it is I just can't think of how the Unions are letting this happen to be honest. Why do I pay them money each month?
