Opies has added Sainsbury's to the growing list of retailers stocking its Lingham's Chilli Sauce.
The company put the brand's popularity down to the use of fresh ingredients, which helped make it stand out from most rivals, said MD William Opie.
"Lingham's Chilli Sauce contains four ingredients. There are no bulking agents, as can be found in cheaper products."
Lingham's Chilli Sauce is already available from Tesco, Waitrose and independents. Opies took over distribution in January following the collapse of previous distributor Evan's Gray and Hood Foods.
