Shoppers at two Sainsbury’s stores in London can now have their health checked at the same time as buying their groceries.

Sainsbury has teamed up with Bupa to offer its shoppers a range of health checks such as blood pressure and cholesterol.

The initiative is being trailed in Sainsbury’s stores at Vauxhall and Merton with plans to extend the scheme nationwide.

Bupa is paying rent for the floorspace in-store, while Sainsbury’s will receive a percentage of each health check sold.
